A medida que se convierta en un trader más experimentado y competente, podrá solicitar la reclasificación de su cuenta como Cuenta Profesional, para que su libertad de operación esté en consonancia con su experiencia, conocimientos y habilidades.

Tamaño de la cartera
Como parte de su proceso de reclasificación, tendrá que demostrar que el tamaño de su cartera posee un valor de 500 000 EUR o más. Si su cartera es amplia y se extiende entre varias casas de bolsa, se le pedirá que proporcione documentación de respaldo sobre el tamaño de su cartera.
Volumen comercial y tamaño
El umbral para alcanzar la condición de profesional es haber realizado 10 operaciones comerciales de un producto relevante en volúmenes significativos, por trimestre, durante el último año. Las transacciones realizadas con otros corredores son válidas y cuentan para el estatus de profesional si se presenta la documentación adecuada.
Experiencia profesional
Al convertirse en un trader profesional, se le pedirá que proporcione evidencia de sus roles anteriores en el sector financiero. Necesitará un mínimo de un año de experiencia en un puesto profesional, que le haya proporcionado el conocimiento y la comprensión adecuados de los productos pertinentes.
